*** Special Notice Regarding LORAN Closure: *** In accordance with the DHS Appropriations Act, the U.S. Coast Guard will terminate the transmission of all U.S. LORAN-C signals effective 2000Z 08 Feb 2010. At that time, the U.S. LORAN-C signal will be unusable and permanently discontinued. This termination does not affect U.S. participation in the Russian American or Canadian LORAN-C chains. U.S. participation in these chains will continue temporarily in accordance with international agreements. You may read more and download pertinent documents via our LORAN-C page.

DGPS SITE COVERAGE PLOTS


You may view DGPS Site Coverage Plots for the United States by geographic region or by an individual state...simply use the links below. The plots attempt to account for ground conductivity, transmitter output power, and land topography; however, it is important to note that they are based on a modeling tool's analysis of DGPS coverage and have not been precisely validated.

To download a coverage plot to your computer hard drive, go to the plot you wish to download by using the links below. After the plot is completely visible on your monitor, right click on the plot with your mouse or trackball, then click on "Save picture as...". You can rename the plot or keep the name that we have assigned it. If you have a question about the latest coverage plots, contact us.
