Item: A Federal Register Notice was published today by the DHS, the Coast Guard and the DoT, Research and Innovative Technology Administration.  The notice requests public comment concerning the future of the Nationwide Differential GPS (NDGPS) service.  You may read the notice here and submit comments by July 13th, 2013 at Regulations.gov Federal eRulemaking Portal. Use ‘‘USCG–2013–0054’’ or ‘‘RITA–2013–0001’’ as your search term in the Portal.
Item: The 2012 Federal Radionavigation Plan (FRP) has been published and is available for download from our navigation publications and documents page.
Item: The Air Force requests public comments on its plan to conduct "live sky" testing of the CNAV message for the GPS L2C and L5 civil signals in June 2013. Please read the Federal Register Notice for more information. Also, you may view the test plan. Note: The comment period has been extended from April 29th to May 5th, 2013.

Item: The Commander, Eighth Coast Guard District is extending the previously published stay (suspension) of reporting requirements under the Regulated Navigation Area (RNA) established by 33 CFR 165.830 for barges loaded with certain dangerous cargoes (CDC barges) in the inland rivers of the Eighth Coast Guard District.
