VTS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY

The Office of Vessel Traffic Management (CG-7413) is committed to achieving customer satisfaction through information sharing. G-MWV has signed a "Customer Bill of Rights" which is focused on customer satisfaction through teamwork, excellence and continuous improvement. This "Bill of Rights" was jointly developed with waterway users to ensure fairness and mutual understanding. Whether facilitating the safe transit of vessel traffic or answering a question generated from our web site, the same criteria is applied. In general, shipboard and shoreside customers can expect the following from the Coast Guard:

  • Courteous and professional treatment.
  • Reasonable schedule accommodation.
  • Commitment to honoring scheduled appointments.
  • Knowledgeable CG personnel.
  • Reasonable opportunity to discuss issues.
  • Consistent application of regulations and policies.

With these criteria in mind, the Office of Vessel Traffic Management has posted a survey which can complete to provide us feedback. Please take some time to improve our service.
