SAFETY / KANAWHA RIVER / SAFETY ZONE / SEC OHV BNM 0344-26 /
The USCG COTP Ohio Valley advises all mariners that a safety zone will be established for the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta taking place on the Kanawha River between MM 58 to MM 59, from 10:45 am to 3:30 pm, pausing and then temporarily starting again from 9:15 pm and ending at 10:00 pm local time, on July 5th, 2026. Entry into this safety zone is prohibited unless authorized by the COTP Sector OHV. The City of Charleston police department and fire department will be standing by on CH 16 and 13.
