The USV will be surveying the eddy current Hurlburt and will operate within 20 miles of approximate position 28-11-27.59N 088-29-45.59W.  The USV is 39 ft long with a yellow hull, a top speed of 7 knots, and the following AIS Data: AIS: MC40-5 (UNMANNED), MMSI: 368412730.  The USV will be continuously monitored and operated 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and is equipped with live visual and thermal cameras, radar, AIS, an automatic anchor system, and navigation lights.  The vessel will depart from Port Fourchon, LA, and will be escorted into and out of the port with a chase boat.  Crew boat services will be available for rapid intervention offshore, if required.  Mariners are requested to maintain a wide berth from the USV while in operation.
