Under the authority of the Ports and Waterways Safety Act (USCG-2026-0592), the COTP is enforcing moving Security Zones around these vessels from 12:01 a.m., on May 24, 2026, through 11:59 p.m., on June 1, 2026.  These moving Security Zones apply to all navigable waters from the Southwest Pass Entrance Lighted Buoy SW (LLNR-12680) to Mississippi River Mile 96.0, AHOP.  All vessels and spectators are strictly prohibited from entering the following areas unless explicitly granted permission:\n•\tWithin a 500-yard radius of U.S. Naval Vessels.\n•\tWithin a 300-yard radius of all Vessels of Particular Interest.\nVessels requesting permission to transit through these moving zones must contact the pilot onboard a Vessel of Particular Interest/U.S. Naval Vessel to make passing arrangements.
